The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Gold Residentials & Adventure Sailing
For those young people who want a week's adventurous sailing, or for those who are involved in The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and need to undertake the Gold Residential, a voyage on Golden Vanity offers the perfect opportunity to do either. Working with your fellow crewmates under the direction of the skipper and mate you will be responsible for all aspects of the running of the vessel whether putting up sails, helming and navigating, cooking or cleaning. It is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, make new friends and learn new skills and no prior sailing experience is required. Five voyages in July & August have been set aside for this, but if these are not convenient, you can do the same on any one of our RYA training courses and on the Tall Ships Race legs.
The 2010 dates for D of E and Adventure Sailing voyages are as follows:
24th - 30 July NOW FULLY BOOKED 31st July – 6th August 7th - 13th August 14th – 20st August 21nd - 27th August
The sailing area for theses voyages will include the south coasts of Devon & Cornwall, the Channel Islands and Brittany.
